Presence

Miklós Jancsó’s three interconnected short films document the gradual destruction of a synagogue and a Jewish cemetery over many years. The empty building, which has lost its original function and been completely neglected, is visited by new rabbis in different decades. They perform short rituals, keeping Jewish traditions alive.
Free tickets for the screening can be collected at the cinema’s box office.
