Summer Nights

Is there anything more pure than a child’s soul?

Israeli director Ohad Milstein’s latest documentary won the Best Israeli Film award at Docaviv. Intimate and tender, it explores the question of what it means to be a father.

The film is about Milstein’s six-year-old son, a peek into his mind. The story begins on the night before the first day of school, and as the child tries to fall asleep in his father’s bed, he asks some very tough questions about life, death and God.

This story is a strange blend of reality and dream, consciousness and unconscious.

Not just for parents!
